Matt. 19:4-6 “Haven’t you read the Scriptures?” Jesus replied. “They record that from the beginning ‘God made them male and female.’ And he said, ‘This explains why a man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.’ Since they are no longer two but one, let no one separate them, for God has joined them together.”
Marriage is a test of your real character. How you treat the ones who are closest to you is the true measure of how loving and respectful you are. Your devotion to God is manifest in
the depth of your commitment to your spouse. Faithfulness to your lifelong partner
helps you to appreciate Gods eternal devotion toward you as one of His
children.
Heb. 13:4 Marriage is honorable in every respect; and, in particular, sex within marriage is pure. But God will indeed punish fornicators and adulterers.
